About Philanthropy Australia
Philanthropy Australia is the national peak body for philanthropy and is a non-profit membership organisation. Our members are trusts and foundations, families and individuals who want to make a difference through their own philanthropy and to encourage others to become philanthropists.
As the national peak body we offer representation, networking, services and information to members and others in the non-profit sector, carrying out our mission to represent, grow and inspire an effective and robst philanthropic sector for the community.
Philanthropy Australia is an independent organisation which receives no government funding. Approximately 68% of our income results from membership fees; approximately 23% comes from publication sales, subscriptions and workshop fees. Less than 10% of our income comes from grants.
Philanthropy Australia is a Charitable Institution but is not a Deductible Gift Recipient.
