- Volunteers
It's also the perfect venue for those people from communities seeking to learn about the Community Foundation movement and what it can achieve for their community.
Any community or group seeking to investigate the idea of a Community Foundation should have representatives attend this Forum.
It is also an ideal Forum for those in Government and the public service to learn what Community Foundations can do, are achieving and hope to achieve for the Australian community in the years ahead.
Call for Community Foundation Topics of Interest
You are invited to suggest topics of major interest; feedback from the 2011 Forum is also being used. Please contact Andrew Lawson, Community Foundations Development Officer, Philanthropy Australia, at ajlawson@bigpond.com with any suggestions.

Getting There
The Forum venue (Dolphin Heads Resort) is a 30 minute taxi ride north from the Mackay Airport.
If you advise Adrienne Rourke of your flight arrival details, the Mackay Community Foundation is going to try to arrange for delegates to be collected by directors/foundation volunteers. Email Adrienne at adrienne@mackayfoundation.com.au.
Alternatively there are maxi taxis that a number of people can pool into for the trip if on the same flight. There is a resort Courtesy Bus service which is technically for people staying three nights. It is worth checking with reception near your flight date to see if the bus is meeting certain flights. You can use it if space is available.
Contact the Dolphin Heads Resort reception on (07) 4954 9666 or email reception@dolphinheadsresort.com.au.
