The Family Violence Philanthropy Collaboration Project - Funders Network Meeting

Where: VicHealth, Seminar Room 1, Ground Level, 15 - 31 Pelham Street, Carlton

When: Wed 20th Feb 2019, 09:30 – 11:30 (2 hours)

The Family Violence Philanthropy Collaboration Project (FVPCP) is a cross sector collaboration between a group of philanthropic funders, Family Safety Victoria (FSV) and Domestic Violence Victoria (DV Vic) focused on supporting the implementation of the Royal Commission into Family Violence Recommendations. Quarterly FVPCP Funders Network Meetings are scheduled for 2019, and all funders with an interest in family violence prevention and response are welcome to attend. At this next meeting we will be presenting the findings from the FVPCP Mid-Project Progress Report, updating the network on upcoming co-funding opportunities, and outlining future directions for the project. We are also fortunate to welcome Respect Victoria and No To Violence, who will be presenting to the group. Respect Victoria is the recently established independent Statutory Authority focused on the primary prevention of family violence for all Victorians. No To Violence is the peak body for organisations and individuals working with men to end family violence in Victoria and New South Wales. Special thanks to the R. E. Ross Trust, the William Buckland Foundation and Gandel Philanthropy for making this project possible.
