Building on the success of the 2016 Keeping Women Out of Prisoncampaign, and the visit from Baroness Corston, this year’s Breakfast will be hosted by The Hon Catherine Cusack MLC, and will feature keynote speaker The Hon Graham West, Chair of SHINE for Kids.
Graham will speak about the need to change sentencing laws for women, so that children will not be traumatised, isolated and stigmatised through their mother’s imprisonment.
More speakers will be announced soon.
All donations made at this year’s Breakfast will go to SHINE for Kids.
