When: Thu 23rd Mar 2017, 08:00 – 09:30 (1 hour, 30 minutes)

Social Ventures Australia (SVA) is a social purpose organisation that works with partners to improve the lives of people in need. As part of our commitment to helping funders and service providers to be more effective, we have developed a series of Perspectives in four focus areas: Education, Employment, Housing and First Australians.

Join us at the Perspectives Breakfast Series for a deep dive into each focus area, followed by a panel discussion to spark debate, innovation and collaboration.

Each Thursday from 9 March, we will explore the conditions and actions that move us towards overcoming disadvantage within each focus area, followed by a panel discussion. Leaders in philanthropy and industry experts will discuss trends, funding models and innovative programs, followed by a Q&A where you can share your thoughts.

Panellists include, amongst others:

  • Catherine Brown, Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation
  • Natalie Elliot, William Buckland Foundation
  • Vedran Drakulic, Gandel Philanthropy

Please find below the dates and focus area.

  • Housing: 9 March, hosted by ARM Architecture
  • Employment: 16 March, hosted by Citi Bank
  • First Australians: 23 March, hosted by Gilbert + Tobin
  • Education: 30 March, hosted by Commonwealth Bank of Australia
