Christopher commenced with JBWere in 1982 and over a 28 year career provided advice to institutional, family office, not for profit, philanthropic and private investors in Australia and offshore. Following a decade of private wealth and Institutional stock broking in Melbourne and 3 ½ years in New York advising North American Institutional clients, in 1996 he was appointed manager of JBWere’s Queensland business. He was made a Partner of the firm in 1997. In 2001 he returned to Melbourne and established the JBWere Philanthropic Services team.

Christopher has a BCom. from Melbourne University, he is a Fellow of FINSIA and a Member of the SDIA and AICD. Christopher is Chairman of ShareGift Australia, Director of Impact Investing Australia President of the Camberwell Grammar School Foundation and a member of the Australian Advisory Board to the G8 Social Impact Investment Taskforce. He was formerly the Founding Chairman of StreetSmart Australia, Council Member of Philanthropy Australia, a founding Board member of Giving West, and Chair of the MLC Community Foundation Advisory Committee.
