Please try the following options:
Make sure cookies are enabled on your browser
Many websites send your computer very small files called 'cookies' so that they can identify you the next time you visit. When you return to a site that has sent a cookie, the site retrieves the cookie, identifies you, and personalizes the webpages you see. If you do not have cookies enabled, the Philanthropy Australia site will not be able to recognise that you are logged in, and you will not have access.
Select your browser from the list below to find out how to enable cookies:
Try clearing out your cookies
Existing cookies on your computer may be preventing the cookies that recognise you are logged in from being downloaded. Try cleaning out your cookies (or 'cache') to allow these new cookies to function correctly. See the links immediately above for instructions.
Check the date on your computer calendar
For security reasons, the website login system is set to provide each user a 'timing out' function: if you login and fail to 'log out', after a certain time of inactivity, the system will automatically log you out.
In order to record how long you have been inactive, the system reads the date and time when you log in to the website. If your computer calendar is incorrect - set earlier than the actual date - the system will have difficulty correctly carrying out the 'time out' function. In other words, as soon as you log in, the system will read your computer date as long in the past, and automatically log you out.
To fix this problem, you will need to correct the date on your computer calendar. If you are using Windows, you will see the current time displayed in the bottom right corner of your screen. Double-clicking on the time ought to bring up the computer calendar. Correct the date, and click OK.
If you receive a message about priveleges when attempting to open the calendar, contact your IT administrator
