Australia Business Arts Foundation
AbaF promotes private sector arts support. We connect business, the arts, donors and volunteers through three programs - Partnering, Volunteering and Giving. AbaF is supported by the Australian Government through the Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts. AbaF's national office is in Melbourne and there are offices in every state.

Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies
Located at Queensland University of Technology, the Centre consists of academics
and research students who have an interest in researching philanthropy and not-for-profit
organisations. The site contains useful information on the Centre's courses
as well as statistics.
Centre for Social Impact
The Centre for Social Impact (CSI) brings together Australia’s not-for-profit, philanthropic, business and government sectors in a collaborative effort to help build passionate, high performing and sustainable social ventures. Through teaching and research, they aim to improve practice in delivering community benefit and generating social innovation. CSI is a partnership between Business Schools of the University of New South Wales, the University of Melbourne and Swinburne University of Technology.

CAF Australia is an Australian charity whose mission is to help donors to give
more effectively and charities to manage their resources efficiently.
Effective Philanthropy
Established to support philanthropists by providing expert advice on where and how they can make the greatest difference. They produce independent "issue based" reports and analyses on topics of interest to grantmakers. These include types of effective and suitable interventions.
Ethical Investor
The Ethical Investor website reports and analyses the performance of companies
in Australia in terms of several criteria including corporate citizenship, environmental
impact and social impact.
Givewell
The Givewell site provides a comprehensive database of Australian charities,
giving strategies, bequests, charitable trusts and corporate philanthropy, as
well as links to charities and related sites.
Goodcompany
Goodcompany's purpose is to facilitate the involvement of young professionals
in philanthropy. The site includes a list of volunteering opportunities recommended
by the Goodcompany board.
GoVolunteer
GoVolunteer is an initiative of Volunteering Australia and is intended to make
it easier for Australians to volunteer. The site includes a search facility
for volunteers to find local opportunities as well as information about the
listed organisations and about volunteering in general.
The International Society for Third-Sector Research (ISTR)
ISTR is a major international association promoting research and education in
the fields of philanthropy, civil society and the not-for-profit sector. ISTR reflects
the growing worldwide interest in Third Sector research and provides a permanent
forum for international research, while at the same time building a global scholarly
community in this field.
National Pro Bono Resource Centre
The National Pro Bono Resource Centre is an Australian independent non-profit
organisation that encourages pro bono legal services, supports lawyers and law
firms to make it easier for them to provide high quality pro bono legal services
and works with the profession and the community sector to match services with
the clients and groups most in need of assistance.
The National Roundtable of Nonprofit Organisations
Nonprofit Roundtable aims to enhance the extraordinary work and
effort already undertaken by not-for-profit organisations in Australia.
It seeks to promote and strengthen the reputation and recognition
of the sector and to increase the infrastructure and capacity of
the sector to deliver important economic and social contributions
to Australia and beyond.
Nonprofit Australia
Nonprofit Australia was established in late 2004 through the work
of a small group of not-for-profit leaders and corporate executives,
drawn together by a common commitment to seeing a not-for-profit sector
better able to face the challenges of the 21st Century. Nonprofit
Australia works through: increasing the capabilities of not-for-profit
leadership teams and Board members; improving financial capacity
in the sector including sustainable funding models financing tools
and capital investment practices; and reducing operating costs through
initiatives such as group procurement and shared services.
Pro Bono Australia
Pro Bono Australia offers a directory of not-for-profit organisations seeking funding,
a free electronic newsletter contaning items of interest for the sector, and
listings of events and jobs in the sector.

A professional organisation designed to pool the efforts of organisations and bodies in the industry.

Philanthropy New Zealand
Philanthropy New Zealand is the peak body for philanthropists and grantmakers throughout New Zealand. Sampradaan - Indian Centre for Philanthropy
