Membership of Philanthropy Australia is limited to those organisations whose primary focus is on philanthropic activity. However, organisations seeking funding and other interested parties are able to become Philanthropy Australia Subscribers in order to best access the range of services offered to grantseekers by Philanthropy Australia.

Knowledge Centre Subscription
Philanthropy Australia's Knowledge Centre subscription is designed for charities and not-for-profit organisations wishing to further their understanding of the world of philanthropy and to take advantage of Philanthropy Australia's expert knowledge of philanthropic trusts and foundations. A subscription enables you to access the full range of Philanthropy Australia's services for grantseekers in one cost-effective package.
Any individual or organisation may subscribe to the Philanthropy Australia Knowledge Centre. Non-profit organisations, charities and fundraising professionals will find it particularly useful:
A Knowledge Centre Subscription includes the following benefits:
- The Australian Directory of Philanthropy in both book form and access to the online version
- A copy of Successful Submission Writing
- One free place at a Philanthropy Australia Grantseeker Workshop
- Subscription to Australian Philanthropy quarterly journal
- Subscription to Philanthropy Quarterly, an electronic newsletter for grantseekers
- A one hour consultation with Knowledge Centre staff, in person or by phone
- Borrowing privileges for the Philanthropy Australia Library Australia-wide
The Knowledge Centre also has an online presence, in the form of publicly available information in our Research and Information section.
An annual Knowledge Centre Subscription costs $550 (including GST), which represents a 10 per cent savings on purchasing each item or service separately. For more information, please contact the Knowledge Centre Staff.

Online Directory Subscription
The Australian Directory of Philanthropy is seminal resource lists more than 420 trusts, foundations and corporate giving programs. It is the most comprehensive reference on sources of non-government funding in Australia.
Subscription to the Australian Directory of Philanthropy Online (or Online Directory) is $75.00 per annum.
