An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Partnerships and Communications Director at Adara Development, the international non-profit development arm of the Adara Group.
This role spans all aspects of partnerships, fundraising and internal and external communications, including media and awareness raising of the Adara Group.

We work to bridge the world of business and the world of people in extreme poverty, and to support vulnerable communities with health, education and other essential services.
As the Partnerships and Communications Director, you’ll make a difference in the lives of tens of thousands of people living in poverty by leading Adara’s fundraising and donor management strategy. You’ll be at the cutting edge of business/non-profit partnerships as you champion our mission to bridge the world of business and the world of people in extreme poverty, and oversee the internal and external communications and public relations functions of the organisation globally.
Adara Group is a unique business-non-profit partnership. The Adara corporate advisory businesses, Adara Advisors and Adara Partners, exist for the sole purpose of funding Adara Development, a leading international INGO. This allows 100% of all other donations received by Adara Development to go directly to project-related costs. Adara Development specialises in maternal newborn child health and remote community development. We work through two pillars: best practice service delivery and knowledge sharing.
The major responsibilities of the Partnerships and Communications Director include:
The Director will lead a small, dedicated, and talented fundraising and communications team to develop and implement the organisation’s fundraising and communications strategy. The role is both hands on and strategic, requiring you to lead fundraising and donor management for Adara Development, as well as oversee the internal and external communications and public relations functions of the organisation globally. This executive position will also contribute to Adara’s overall strategy as a key member of the Global Leadership Team.
This position is a permanent, full-time role based in Rozelle Sydney, and reports to the Chief Executive Officer of Adara Development and the Chair of the Adara Group. The working environment is informal but professional, with very high standards of output and delivery. We are a happy, enthusiastic and energy filled group, with a great work culture.
