$2m windfall for documentaries

Seven Australian screen projects received more than $2 million in an extraordinary Good Pitch Australia documentary forum last week.

More than 150 grants were made by philanthropic foundations and individual donors in ­another sign that Australia’s film and TV industry, particularly documentary, is finding funding beyond government support.
