Perpetual's National Manager of Philanthropy & Not Profit Services Caitriona Fay said financial advisers play a key role in increasing charitable giving as Australia is set to experience its greatest ever intergenerational transfer of wealth over the next two decades.
“Over the coming years, Baby Boomers will be working increasingly closely with their trusted advisers to put estate plans in place, making it important for financial planners to know how to discover and guide their clients’ charitable intentions,” Fay said.
In conversation with Nicole Richards at the Philanthropy Meets Parliament Summit, Daniel Lee shared his insights on topics including the role of philanthropy as a driver of systems change which addresses root causes of social challenges, the relationship between philanthropy and government and what the new political environment in the United States means for philanthropy.
