American philanthropists award millions of dollars to Australia

A new report on American philanthropy shows that between 2011 and 2013, US foundations awarded $125 million worth of grants to Australian recipients. But the report also revealed a lack of data on the practices of Australian foundations, with little information available on who is funding what, and where.
