Speaking ahead of Philanthropy Australia’s National Conference in Melbourne today, he says those engaged in philanthropy should give it the same level of attention as they pay to their business interests.
“The most generous part of your philanthropy could be the time you put in to procure the same results and same outcomes and same returns you demand in business,’’ he told The Australian.
In conversation with Nicole Richards at the Philanthropy Meets Parliament Summit, Daniel Lee shared his insights on topics including the role of philanthropy as a driver of systems change which addresses root causes of social challenges, the relationship between philanthropy and government and what the new political environment in the United States means for philanthropy.
