Today marks the start of Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week, an opportunity to showcase the power of partnerships between community and philanthropy in building strong, vibrant sustainable places to live and work.
Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week (CPPW) is an initiative supported through the Prime Minister’s Community Business Partnership which was established to advise the Government on practical strategies to foster a culture of philanthropic giving, volunteering and investment in Australia.
Minister for Social Services Christian Porter, who is Deputy Chair of the Community Business Partnership, said activities across Australia would highlight the ways in which collaboration between business, volunteers and grassroots community groups helped build a strong and cohesive society.
