CEO, Alexandra Gartmann, will be leaving the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) in early October 2015.
Alexandra has been appointed Managing Director of Rural Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited.
"The move will enable her to continue to contribute to building strong and vibrant rural communities.
Alexandra has made an enormous contribution to the sector and to FRRR in her four and a half years. She has significantly increased FRRR's profile and engaged more partners to invest in programs to benefit rural, regional and remote communities. As a result FRRR’s granting has increased by more than 50%, rising from $5.4 million to $8.4 million in 2014/15 and benefitting 800 community organisations in the last year alone.
The Board has begun the search for a new Chief Executive Officer to build on Alexandra’s significant achievements. If necessary, the Board will appoint an interim CEO who can work with the very committed and capable team Alexandra has built."
