Some of the nation’s most powerful philanthropists, including members and representatives of the Hains, Myer, Fairfax and Gonski families, have written to Prime Minister Tony Abbott demanding a better tax regime to support international philanthropy
The letter, signed by the council of Philanthropy Australia and 13 other prominent philanthropists, claims Australia’s regulatory and taxation framework for international giving imposes some of the highest barriers to international philanthropy in the world.

Advocacy & Insight Manager, Krystian Seibert, outlines Philanthropy Australia's engagement with the review.
