Miner Gives $62M to West Australia Universities (ABC US)

Mining magnate Andrew Forrest has pledged to give $65 million Australian dollars ($62 million) to university education in his home state in one of Australia's largest philanthropic donations.  Anna Draffin, deputy chief executive officer of the charity umbrella group Philanthropy Australia, described the Forrest gift as the biggest philanthropic donation from an Australian.
