Qld discovers creative side with business-backed arts future fund

September 29th, 2014

The Queensland government has turned to business to create a future fund to help arts organisations become more financially viable.

Arts Minister Ian Walker will launch the Arts Innovation Fund on Monday, a fund in which the state will match contributions from the private sector.

The government is stumping up $500,000 in 2014-15 to match a $500,000 contribution from the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation.
