The George Alexander Foundation scholarship presents a unique opportunity for students commencing a course in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies at QUT’s Australian Centre of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies.
Eligible students have the potential to receive up to $8000 over the duration of their Graduate Certificate, which is a one-year part-time course offered both in-class and also online, with two intensive onsite weekends. Any commencing student with eligibility to do the course and a passion for leadership in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector is welcome to apply.
Applications close 30 June 2015.
In conversation with Nicole Richards at the Philanthropy Meets Parliament Summit, Daniel Lee shared his insights on topics including the role of philanthropy as a driver of systems change which addresses root causes of social challenges, the relationship between philanthropy and government and what the new political environment in the United States means for philanthropy.
