Philanthropy Australia thanks those Members and Associates who attended this year’s AGM.
On behalf of the Board and Members of Philanthropy Australia, we are pleased to announce the results of the Board election, which was formalised at our 2022 Annual General Meeting.
We received ten nominations for eight positions, therefore, in accordance with our Rules, we held a ballot in February.
The following Members, in alphabetical order, have been appointed to Philanthropy Australia’s Council:
Philanthropy Australia’s Co-Chair, Amanda Miller OAM, welcomed our new members and re-elected members to the Philanthropy Australia Board. Information about our Board Members can be found here.
Amanda Miller OAM also paid tribute to, and thanked, outgoing Board members including fellow Co-Chair, Ann Johnson, FARCC Chair, Caroline Stewart, and Directors Craig Winkler and Jenny Stephens. Appreciation was also extended to retiring FARCC member, Michael Barr, who left in December 2021.
Ann Johnson, departing Co-Chair, concluded by thanking staff, Board and our membership for the work they do to support the achievement of more and better philanthropy.
