Australian Women Donors Network research

Philanthropy Australia is pleased to support the Australian Women Donors Network’s (Women Donors) important research amongst donors.

The research will assist in understanding attitudes and behaviours relating to the inclusion of women and girls amongst grant-making organisations in Australia. It will also assist the Women Donors Network in responding to the evolving needs of the sector.

This essential research, which is being undertaken by Evolve Research and Consulting on behalf of Women Donors, will also measure changes since the initial benchmark research undertaken in 2011. In September 2015, individuals and organisations involved in decisions about funding not-for-profit organisations were invited to inform the research by participating in a short survey.

Findings from the survey will be available soon.

What is Women Donors?

Women Donors is a not-for-profit organisation that advocates for philanthropy for women and girls including direct funding of projects and organisations that specifically support women and girls, and funding through a gender lens to ensure that gender-neutral projects or initiatives include women and girls.
