The key objective of the Barr Family Foundation is to enhance the lives of ill or disadvantaged children, young people and their families, living in Victoria. The Barr Family Foundation is committed to diversity, inclusion and equity.


The Caledonia Foundation is a private philanthropic foundation which seeks to make a significant, sustainable difference to the lives and wellbeing of children, youth and socially excluded people in Australia. We develop key creative initiatives in collaboration with community and philanthropic partners to catalyse and leverage positive social change.

Philanthropy or the act of contribution is a core value at Cooper Investors. Through the Cooper Investors Philanthropy Committee, we support a wide range of research and care initiatives in the area of mental health, as well as supporting innovative, mission-driven social enterprise organisations.

The Day Family Foundation aims to create positive change through mentoring, music, leadership and positive education programs in disadvantaged schools.

The Fay Fuller Foundation aims to drive change around impactful, purposeful, and people-centred philanthropic funding in South Australia. Our purpose is to resource community determined responses to complex challenges and we pursue this through three focus areas: Mental Health and Wellbeing, Aboriginal-Led Health Funding, and Practice and Collaboration.

Herbert Smith Freehills’ Charity Law Team are experts in advising charitable organisations and philanthropic foundations on their governance, tax and compliance obligations, including their eligibility for charity registrations and tax concessions.

 

The Ian Potter Foundation is one of Australia's major philanthropic foundations. The Foundation makes grants nationally to support charitable organisations working to benefit the community across a wide range of sectors including the arts, medical research, public health research, early childhood development, community wellbeing and environmental science. The Macquarie Group Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Macquarie Group, providing support to hundreds of community organisations globally each year through financial support, volunteering and skills sharing, predominantly in the locations in which Macquarie operates. The Foundation’s work is significantly influenced by the activities of Macquarie staff with a focus on increasing social and economic mobility.

 

In 2006, Paul Ramsay AO established the Paul Ramsay Foundation. Since his death in 2014, the Foundation continues through his generous bequest.
