Lynne Umbers

Content and Learning Officer

Lynne joined the Philanthropy Australia team as Content and Learning Officer in November 2020, having spent the previous year working on a project to deliver Giving Circles in the workplace at Good2Give.  She has a Master of Social Investment and Philanthropy from the Centre of Social Impact Swinburne (2018).

As Content and Learning Officer, Lynne will be focusing on best practice philanthropy and disseminating this to the Philanthropy Australia membership through digital platforms, publications and events. 

Lynne helped develop the ‘Put Your Foot Down Walk’ Melbourne for PanKind, in support of pancreatic cancer research.  She has been President of the Lauriston Parents’ Association and recently joined the Melbourne Women’s Fund.  A keen hiker, Lynne reached the summit of Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, in 2016.
