Country Manager Sustainability, IKEA Australia
Kate has more than 15 years of practical and academic experience in the three areas of sustainability – social, economic and environment. This unique understanding has enabled her to provide advice and analysis across a broad range of topics within the Sustainability and Environmental fields. She is passionate about integrating sustainability principles and practices into everything organisations do.
Kate is representing herself as well as IKEA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of INGKA Foundation, the owner of the IKEA Group of Companies. The IKEA family engages through various ways, with an embedded planet & people positive strategy throughout the company. It also engages through the Foundation, reaching communities not reached by the company. The Foundation operates under the same values and culture as the company does, applying IKEA business principles to philanthropy.
