Tanya Jackson-Vaughan, an Impact 25 winner, has been the Executive Director of Refugee Advice & Casework Service (RACS) since 2011.
As a passionate advocate for human rights, Tanya has overseen the growth of RACS into one of the leading and most highly respected community legal centres in Australia dedicated to providing services to refugees and people seeking asylum. She has successfully transformed the organisation from being 100% fully Government funded to an organisation with diverse income streams.
Previously, she worked as an advisor to Anthony Albanese MP and as an English teacher to migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum.
