Australian Women Donors Network Annual Gender-wise Event

Where: Online

When: Tue 24th Nov 2020, 11:00 – 12:00 (1 hour)

Presented by: Australian Women Donors Network

The Australian Women Donors Network is evolving... After more than a decade of advocating for increased investment in women and girls, and a gender lens across philanthropy, we’ve seen the events of 2020 amplify this need and increase the urgency of our work.

AWDN is evolving to meet the challenge and are excited to share with you our changes - a new brand, website and future focus - at this year’s special Annual Gender-wise Event.

As always we will present a compelling conversation between thought leaders in philanthropy and gender equity to inform and inspire you to carefully consider the impact of giving on women and girls, to ensure fairer outcomes.

Jay Weatherill, CEO of Minderoo Foundation’s Thrive by Five and Sam Mostyn, Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Australian Women Donors Network, join author and Walkley Award winning journalist, Catherine Fox in a not to be missed conversation on the value of a gender lens in directing funding for greatest impact.

Please join us at 11am AEST on the morning of Tuesday, November 24th as we tackle this big issue in the context of 2020 and beyond, celebrate our first decade, examine the growth of the gender lens in Australian philanthropy and unveil the next stage in our evolution.

Investing in women and girls, advocating and educating to ensure that their needs and circumstances are central to philanthropic practice, has never been more important.

We warmly welcome all philanthropic and corporate funders, impact investors, not-for-profits, community leaders, government and policy advisors to register for this special event.
