New Gen Network memberships connect new and emerging philanthropists in their 20s & 30s.
The New Gen Network (New Gen) is for individuals in their 20s and 30s who want to make a difference. Create relationships that last a lifetime and learn from some of the most experienced philanthropists in Australia.
New Gen has been part of Philanthropy Australia since 2012 and has incubated some of Australia’s leading young philanthropists and social entrepreneurs. The network includes next generation family members, young professionals, social entrepreneurs and philanthropic and corporate foundation staff and trustees. Whether you are at the beginning of your philanthropic journey, exploring how to maximise your impact, or looking to become a leader in the sector, New Gen will provide you with the knowledge and connections to find your way.
It all starts here. Be the change you seek!
Being a member of New Gen and Philanthropy Australia provides wonderful opportunities to connect and learn from like-minded individuals and organisations, as well as experts in the field from around the world. The knowledge I’ve been exposed to has informed decisions in my personal giving journey, my career and my NFP board roles. Daniella Alhadeff, Senior Manager, Social Impact, PwC
New Gen is tailored to you at your stage in the philanthropic journey, whether you’re a beginner, more established or developing as a leader in the sector.

I've had a great time meeting other young philanthropists through New Gen events; one of them has even become one of my closest friends. I've also gotten a lot out of the Philanthropy Australia conferences - make sure you don't miss them! Whether you're just at the start of your philanthropic journey or have been giving for many years, I'd definitely recommend getting involved in New Gen. Anna Rose, Farmers for Climate Action
