Work type: Part-time
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to assume the leadership role at a dynamic not-for-profit organisation.
Are you a self-starter ready for a leadership position, who would thrive in an independent and dynamic role? Do you have a deep passion for supporting families in crisis and creating change? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Working closely with the board, the purpose of this role is to lead The Nappy Collective Inc (“TNC”) both strategically and operationally to maximise our impact. Key responsibilities will include further strengthening the reputation of the organisation, leading the development of sustainable corporate partnerships and fundraising initiatives as well as continuing to build on our engagement with the community.
The Nappy Collective provides families experiencing disadvantage with essential material aid for the most vulnerable members within that family unit, the children.
It is the only Australian organisation focused on collecting and distributing nappies to families in need.
The Nappy Collective runs bi-annual and year round collective and other initiatives across Australia to raise donations of leftover, unused nappies which otherwise may be thrown out.
We work with over 200 charity partners (a variety of non-profit organisations) who support families
experiencing disadvantage and have a presence in over 60 cities and towns across Australia.
To date, The Nappy Collective has re-distributed over 4.5 million rescued nappies.
