A day in the life of your new role:

You will be working with a local board of trustees to lead and manage a variety of grants, fundraising, compliance and strategic work for the Foundation including delivering on the strategic goals to grow our fund Develop interest and knowledge in the project and build key relationships with potential donors.

Manage and oversee the operations and administration of the organisation.

Lead a small team of diligent and passionate individuals who see the bigger picture.

 

Your core talents:

  • Experience in providing Executive and Strategic leadership in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Experience and knowledge of fundraising and general fund development concepts.
  • Sound financial understanding and skills Excellent communication and engagement skills, with the ability to build strong networks and relationships.
  • A community-minded individual with the ability to build motive and inspire others in our projects.

  • We facilitate the transfer of funds from donations to those who need it the most. We are experts in quick turnaround grants, especially in times of crisis.
  • You will be part of a small, diligent, and committed team who work closely, and are supported by a strong and energetic board. This is not a typical
  • 9-to-5 role! You have autonomy and flexibility in your hours of work, as well as an agile role where no two days are the same.

Working rights: You will need full Australian working rights to be considered for this position. You will undergo a police check, have a valid driver’s licence, and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Additional assessments may apply.

When: An immediate start is available for this long-term opportunity.

 

Hours: Between 20-30 hours of work per week as negotiated with the successful applicant.

 

Flexibility: WFH/Hybrid options are available for the right person.
