An exceptional opportunity currently exists for a suitably experienced and motivated individual to join us in the full-time three-year term role of Head of Philanthropy.


The Head of Philanthropy will champion a culture of philanthropy and the importance of longstanding relationships that align with organisational values and support the achievement of QPAC’s strategic ambitions.


Reporting to the Director – Public Engagement, the Head of Philanthropy will be responsible for growing QPAC’s philanthropic programs and expanding QPAC’s financial resources by creating and managing dynamic and innovative donor and supporter relationships.


Key functions of this position include leading the development and implementation of philanthropic and fundraising strategies with donors, trusts and foundations, overseeing and evaluating the QPAC Membership, major donor and planned giving strategies. Additional responsibilities include leading the philanthropy team in creating compelling donor journeys and working in tandem with the Head of Partnerships and relevant team members to ensure the seamless integration of all fundraising activity and stewardship of donors and partners.


The ideal candidate will be capable of conveying appropriate messages and representing QPAC to the corporate and foundation community to encourage ad facilitate interest in, and support of, QPAC’s mission and goals.


Knowledge of donor management best practice and the ability to enhance QPACs ability to identify, establish, create and maintain strong relationships through corporations, trusts and foundations will see you succeeding in this position.


Key attributes that are critical to this role include self-motivation and discipline to regularly set and achieve work goals, excellent organisational, interpersonal and networking skills with large groups as well as with individuals.


This is not a 9 to 5 position. The successful candidate will be required to have a high degree of flexibility in work times, including frequent evening and weekend work and the ability to travel and to entertain corporate and foundation donors and potential donors.
