Rather than simply meeting the basic regulatory requirements for operation, a business should also consider the ways in which its activities impact on the community in which it does business. We do this via Community Connect, all the various ways in which we can connect with different communities through volunteering programs and fundraising activities; the Clayton Utz Foundation, which provides grants to charities which have a link to the firm; our Reconciliation Action Plan, which reflects our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; and Environmental Sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of our operations and raising awareness of sustainability issues.
