In the News: Be Kind Sydney: new appeal plugs the gap in giving

In Sydney's south-west, demand for food from families struggling to stay afloat during the pandemic has skyrocketed. It is the same story across Sydney and nationwide.

Philanthropy Australia CEO Sarah Davies said many large donors had responded generously by relaxing their giving guidelines and providing more flexibility about reporting requirements. "Half have shifted to untied and unrestricted grants," she told the webinar.
