Terms and Conditions

2. Promotion Name

World Charity Survey – Core Conference Pass Giveaway (“Promotion”).

3. Promotional Period

The Promotion opens at 9:00am AEDT on 21st April 2026] and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 7 June 2026 (“Promotional Period”).

Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be eligible.

4. Eligibility

Entry is open to organisations that satisfy all of the following criteria:

  • Have a current active registration as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC)
  • Complete the World Charity Insight Survey during the Promotional Period
  • Email [email protected] confirming survey completion within the Promotional Period
  • Are based in Australia
  • Only one entry per organisation is permitted

The following are not eligible to enter:

  • Employees, contractors or directors of Philanthropy Australia and their immediate families

Only one entry per organisation is permitted.

5. How to Enter

To enter the Promotion, an eligible organisation must:

  1. Complete the World Charity Insight Survey in full
  2. Email [email protected] stating that the survey has been completed

No purchase or payment is required to enter.

6. Prize

There is one (1) prize to be won:

  • One complimentary Core Conference registration to the Philanthropy Australia Core Conference
  • Prize value: $2175.00 for Impact and Engage members, $2610 for Connect members, $2900 for non-members

The prize:

  • Is valid for attendance at the Core Conference only
  • Does not include flights, accommodation, meals, transfers or any other expenses
  • Is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash

7. Draw Details

The winner will be selected by random draw conducted at:

  • Date: 8 June 2026
  • Time: 4:30pm
  • Location: Philanthropy Australia. Level 14, 90 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC

The draw will be conducted fairly and in accordance with Victorian legislation.

8. Winner Notification

The winning organisation will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the draw.

If the winner does not respond within seven (7) days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.

9. Privacy

Personal and organisational information will be collected and handled in accordance with Philanthropy Australia’s Privacy Policy and used only for the purposes of administering this Promotion, unless otherwise consented to.

10. General Conditions

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants.
  • The Promoter may disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for technical issues, lost communications or incomplete entries.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Philanthropy Australia excludes all liability for loss, damage or injury suffered by any entrant or winner arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance of the prize.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

12. Variation and Cancellation

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Promotion at any time if required by law or due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

13. Governing Law

This Promotion is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
