Lucy joined the Philanthropy Australia team in early 2024 when Philanthropy Australia took on the host partner responsibilities for NEXUS Australia.

 As a team member of Philanthropy Australia, Lucy also holds the role of Executive Officer of NEXUS Australia, the Australian arm of NEXUS Global. With over 6000 members across 60 countries, NEXUS is a unique global community of young philanthropists, social entrepreneurs and creative innovators shaping a positive future through powerful dialogue. Lucy has been involved with NEXUS since 2015, including serving on the NEXUS Global Mental Health Council and as a delegate and speaker at many NEXUS Global Summits.

Passionate about philanthropy and social entrepreneurship, Lucy has used her time and skills to passionately drive social change. After working in professional services for 13 years both within Australia and the UK, in 2019 Lucy moved into not-for-profit, sitting on the senior leadership team at youth mental health charity, batyr. Lucy serves as a Board Director for Cana Communities, as well as the Environmental Music Prize. She has been an active member of Philanthropy Australia since 2014, and is also involved in her family’s philanthropic giving.
