The Community & Marketing Coordinator is a pivotal role that connects our not-for-profits (NFPs) and volunteer communities, delivering standout experiences, and learning from feedback to drive maximum impact.

About the Role
The Community & Marketing Coordinator is a pivotal role that connects our not-for-profits (NFPs) and volunteer communities, delivering standout experiences, and learning from feedback to drive maximum impact. This role plays a key part in our goal to unlock $100M in value for NFPs by June 2028.

Reporting to the Head of Community, Corporate Partnerships and Communications, you’ll lead our 10xer Program, our core volunteer program. Your role will include managing the full lifecycle of our volunteers; recruiting and onboarding, coordinating delivery of the program with our Heads of Cities (lead volunteers) and supporting them to deliver flagship events. You’ll also be the first point of contact for our NFPs, and working with the Head of CCC to create new initiatives that foster connection between our NFPs and our volunteer community, unlocking additional value. You will drive continuous improvement in program delivery by managing our community-level data collection through participatory measurement and support sharing of these findings internally and externally. Working in close collaboration with our Head of Venture Philanthropy, you will build systems and processes to visualise the health of the community.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role that blends community building, volunteer management, event delivery, operational execution, social media and marketing. It will suit someone who likes variety, and wants to grow quickly by working in a small team where your contributions make a difference.

If you’re a natural connector, enjoy optimising processes, have an understanding of social media marketing, and are looking for purpose in your day to day work – we’d love to hear from you.

About 10×10
10×10 builds the networks that back innovative not-for-profits (NFPs) taking on Australia’s toughest social challenges. We have two strategies for building high-impact networks;

Fuelling a thriving movement: We host flagship events that bring people together to be part of something bigger. A social movement where their time, connections, and capital can transform communities.

Building a funding ecosystem: We’re building a venture philanthropy funding ecosystem, where individuals, corporates and funders unlock new and better philanthropy. Together, we accelerate social change, scaling the ideas of innovative NFPs.

Through fuelling a thriving movement and building a funding ecosystem, our model turns every $1 invested into $10 of value created for NFPs and the people they support – and this impact is only set to grow. Our aim is to unlock $100M in value for NFPs by June 2028.

Over the last 12 years we’ve supported almost 500 organisations targeting all 17 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, engaged 25k individuals in philanthropy and unlocked over $30M in funding for innovative not-for-profits.

Some of the NFPs in our community include Fighting Chance, OrangeSky Laundry, Consent Labs, Bandu and This Is A Conversation Starter (TIACS).

Why Join Us
10×10 is on a significant growth trajectory with strong momentum, and the ambition for nationally significant change in the way people find and support non-profits, akin to the early days of the venture capital ecosystem in Australia. The 10×10 team and Board have deep experience in finance and investment management, venture capital, philanthropy, not-for-profits, corporate, tech startups, and big tech. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of these fields, and see the impact of your contributions each day.
