General Manager – Philanthropy

In this newly created position and as a member of the Executive team, you will be responsible for all philanthropic programs at the Institute, driving strategic initiatives and embedding robust systems to support this activity.

The Florey is the largest brain research centre in the southern hemisphere, with teams of researchers dedicated to finding solutions for a range of neurological and psychiatric conditions.

We are world leaders in neuroimaging, discovery science, brain-body interactions and drug development.  Our teams work on a range of neurological and psychiatric conditions including epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, depression, schizophrenia and addiction.

In this newly created position and as a member of the Executive team, you will be responsible for all philanthropic programs at the Institute, driving strategic initiatives and embedding robust systems to support this activity.  You will bring a strong fundraising track record combined with senior leadership experience and the ability to work across complex, scientific communities.
