Are you a strategic and values-driven leader with a passion for advancing community outcomes through philanthropy and partnerships?
About the Role
This senior leadership role will develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising and philanthropy strategy aligned with amplifying the strategic goals of AnglicareSA.
You will:
- Lead a passionate and high-performing team across major gifts, donor and community engagement, and philanthropic operations.
- Develop a multi-year fundraising and partnership strategy, grounded in data and aligned to organisational objectives.
- Drive major gift initiatives by building meaningful relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations.
- Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities through grant submissions, bequests, sponsorships, and corporate partnerships.
- Oversee strategic fundraising events that deliver strong return on investment.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing & Communications to deliver compelling storytelling, donor stewardship, and campaigns.
- Strengthen connections with community stakeholders, including schools, parishes, and community groups.
- Champion best-practice donor experience and reporting to drive long-term engagement and impact.
Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a values-led leader who brings:
- Proven experience in philanthropy, fundraising, or partnerships, including delivering revenue outcomes.
- Strong strategic capability with an ability to use data and analytics to inform and optimise decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A track record of success in securing major gifts, multi-year funding, or complex partnerships.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to build and support high-performing teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, fundraising, or related fields.
