About the Position
The Manager, Stewardship focuses on developing and delivering an integrated donor and stakeholder relations and stewardship program to strengthen Art Centre Melbourne’s connection with philanthropic, government and corporate funders. This position requires someone with proven relationship management experience, exceptional communication skills and experience with fundraising and partnerships, to strengthen Arts Centre Melbourne’s strategic impact as a leading cultural organisation.
Part time ongoing position (0.8 FTE). Salary band 4.3 $114,173.28 p.a. plus superannuation.
Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role
- Demonstrated understanding of best practice stewardship and the role of stewardship and donor and stakeholder relations strategies
- Extensive experience of the not-for-profit and philanthropy sector
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, appropriate for dealing with stakeholders and supporters
- Exemplary stakeholder management skills and excellent attention to detail
- Experience in event planning and delivery
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to lead and develop a small team
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
