Calling all leaders! Play it forward or pay it forward!

Philanthropy Australia recently launched the Philanthropy Leadership Summit 2025: Leadership for our times.  Thank you to those of you who have already submitted an expression of interest.

The Canberra Summit always sells out and we are committed to having a diverse and dynamic audience. We invite you to register your interest, and/or forward on the information to leaders you believe should be in the room.

Scholarships are available to ensure accessibility, so if you’re a leader in a small not-for-profit organisation or a First Nations leader or emerging leader, please express your interest.

We are also delighted to invite funders to support leaders in their networks to attend. Please contact us if you’re interested in supporting scholarships.

In its tenth year and in response to the global poly crisis, we have re-imagined the Summit to host conversations about the type of leadership needed to address the important and urgent issues we are facing. 

We are seeking participation from leaders and emerging leaders across the community, not-for-profit, philanthropic, government and for-purpose sectors. 

The key details are:

  • Tuesday 5 August: Pre-Summit Dinner at the National Press Club with keynote by the Hon Julia Gillard AC.
  • Wednesday 6 August: Full day Leadership Summit held at Hotel Realm, Canberra.
  • Thursday 7 August: Half day reflection via roundtables (funders/philanthropy only), held at Hotel Realm, Canberra.

We invite interested leaders to submit a brief expression of interest. It’s a simple process!
