PA expands to TAS: introductions and opportunities in membership team

We are delighted to announce that Philanthropy Australia is extending its national footprint and will open an office in Tasmania. Lola Cowle has been appointed our first Director of Engagement (TAS) and starts next week. 

Lola brings more than 15 years of local leadership at the Tasmania Community Fund, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening the state’s philanthropic ecosystem. She is widely recognised as a key leader in the national sector, known for her commitment to community and collaboration.  

New QLD Lead 

We are also pleased to welcome Stephanie Hubbard as our new Membership Engagement Lead (QLD/NT), based in Brisbane and working alongside Senior Director Kim Harland. Stephanie brings more than a decade of experience across corporate philanthropy, grant making, not-for-profit organisations and international development. 

Stephanie commenced in her role at the beginning of February. 

Opportunities in the PA team 

To further strengthen the team, Philanthropy Australia is recruiting. 

In Sydney, we are looking for Engagement Lead (NSW/ACT) to work alongside Director Bella Conyngham.  This role is responsible for deepening the relationships with members in NSW and the ACT and supporting the growth of a connected, vibrant philanthropic community.  You can find the full position description and application details here
