As we approach the end of the financial year, Philanthropy Australia shares a series of short, animated videos for anyone wishing to learn more about beginning their philanthropic journey. The resources include one for financial advisers on the benefits of talking to clients about philanthropy and one explaining how different giving structures, such as PAFs and PuAFs, work.

Queensland Philanthropy Awards 2024 winners announced
Seven of Queensland’s leading individual and corporate philanthropists have been named winners across a range of categories at the 2024 Queensland Philanthropy Awards. The awards were announced at a lunchtime ceremony at Brisbane City Hall, which included a guest appearance from tennis star Ash Barty AO. How a philanthropic consortium is helping young people out of homelessness
A recent Foyer Foundation initiative with Hand Heart Pocket and others resulted in the Queensland government committing $320 million to youth homelessness accommodation and support services.
