DFAT & FGII Convergence Blended Finance – Melbourne

As part of our commitment to supporting impact investing education, we invite FGII members to join a workshop on Blended Finance, hosted by Convergence the Global Network for Blended Finance in partnership with DFAT’s International Impact Investor Group (IDIG) and FGII.

Join an exclusive conversation with Joan Larrea, CEO of Convergence, the Global Network for Blended Finance. At the invitation of DFAT, Joan is visiting Australia to share her experience and insights on blended finance and how leading global Foundations are participating in blended finance transactions.

During the workshop Joan will share global best practice, emerging trends, and case studies to demonstrate how philanthropic foundations can grow on their blended finance journey. We will also unpack a recent deal and examine the kinds of organisations and motivations you can expect to see in blended capital structures.

This workshop is running exclusively in person in Melbourne and Sydney. Due to the limited spots available, tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Audience:

• This workshop is designed for an intermediate level of understanding and is suited for foundations that are exploring or actively investing in blended finance.
• This event is open to FGII members only. Eligible Foundations & Trusts are welcome to apply for FGII membership here
