Family Foundations Peer Network (Oct 2025)

Many family foundations are asking the question: how can our corpus be better aligned with our values and purpose? 

Join us at the next Family Foundations Peer Network meeting for a candid, practical conversation on the opportunities and challenges in aligning investments with mission. 

You’ll hear real examples of how families are maximising financial returns while staying true to their purpose, and gain insights into the strategies and practices that have helped them succeed. 

Hear from: 

• Kylie Charlton, Managing Director at Australian Impact Investments, on practical ways families can approach their foundation’s investments and embed values within investment strategies that complement their philanthropic mission.
• Ingrid Albert, Head of the Tony Foundation and Executive Director at Alberts, on her family’s journey to develop a Responsible Investment Approach, the framework that guides their investment decision-making.

You’ll leave with practical insights and frameworks to consider in your own context, and a real-life example from peers on the journey. 

There will be an opportunity to ask candid questions alongside other family foundations and to share your own learnings.

Audience: This peer network session is staff, trustees or family members that represent a Family Foundation with membership with Philanthropy Australia (Engage/Impact membership level) or Foundations Group for Impact Investing (FGII).
