In the next First Nations Funders Network meeting, we invite you to take part in this crucial and timely conversation around the recently announced First Nations Economic Partnership which advances economic empowerment grounded in self-determination and where opportunities are defined by First Nations’ communities.
We want to hear from you, the peer network members, on how philanthropy can step up our collective support for the First Nations Economic Partnership. We will also follow on our commitments in the last meeting around the First Nations Collaboration Model.
To keep this an action-oriented session, we will prioritise confirming near-term commitments and resource what’s needed to deliver them. Together, we will:
- Incorporate First Nations perspective on what meaningful support looks like.
- Work in small groups to map out concrete actions and agree on next steps.
This is your chance to deepen your connections with your peers and to share to the group how you’ll contribute to these efforts as a member of the First Nations Funders Network.
Audience: This meeting is for the First Nations Funders Network members only.
