The Inspire Grant was created to uplift the education outcomes of children and young people facing the greatest barriers to reaching their potential. The Inspire Grant will provide two eligible charities up to $300,000 over three years to support innovative approaches to education - participation, learning, and transition to further study or employment.

BankSA Foundation NEW Inspire Grants – open for applications

BankSA Foundation's new Inspire Grant aims to uplift the education outcomes of children and young people facing the greatest barriers to reaching their potential. Education is one of the most powerful ways to create positive change and lasting impact, but equal opportunities and quality outcomes are not available for all children and young people. The Inspire Grant will provide one eligible charity up to $150,000 over three years to support innovative approaches to education - participation, learning and transition to further study or employment. 

 

Applications are now open and will close on Sunday 14 April 2024.

Fay Fuller Foundation’s Discovery Grants round open 

Discovery Grants are a two-year grant to support testing and developing preventative approaches that support mental health and the conditions for wellbeing with community in South Australia to learn what works, what doesn’t and how it could be scalable, self-making, or sustainable. Each Discovery Grant is to the value of $120,000pa with an additional $5,000 to support the development of tools or evaluation frameworks to inform ongoing learning for the purpose of reflection and adaptation. The Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship

The Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship, an initiative by Façon Magazine and generously supported by Greater Bank, is thrilled to introduce the esteemed mentors for the 2024 program.The scholarship program is designed to celebrate, sustain and grow Indigenous art and design in New South Wales. Greater Bank will provide a $10,000 scholarship to support the winner’s creative aspirations, with guidance from Murrook Cultural Centre. The program consists of nine differing creative discipline categories that are open for applications including: fashion design, accessory design, art painting, music, dance, writing, digital art, film and photography.

First Large Grant Round for 2024: Supporting LGBTQIA+ refugees and people seeking asylum

This large grant round has a total funding pool of $20,000, with a focus on supporting sexuality, sex and gender-diverse (LGBTQIA+) refugees and people seeking asylum. Grant applications should be to the value of up to $20,000 over two years (if applicable). The grantors encourage projects that are led by LGBTQIA+ refugees, people seeking asylum and/or people of colour. Expressions of Interest are open and close 5pm AEST on Friday 19 April 2024. Shortlisted EOIs will be invited to submit a grant application by late April 2024.

Multiple grant programs are now open

FRRR has multiple grants open including the Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) program which gives small remote, rural and regional communities across Australia the opportunity to access funds for a broad range of initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities. The newly announced ABC Heywire Youth Innovation grants help communities take action on the ideas generated by young Australians who attend the annual Heywire Regional Youth Summit.

 

Applications will close on 5 June and 29 May respectively.

Applications for the NAB Foundation Community Grants program now open

Australian communities are being hit harder by natural disasters more often. It takes many hands to get communities back up and running after a disaster and to build resilience for the next one. That’s why the NAB Foundation Community Grants program provides funding of up to $25,000 for local projects that help communities withstand and recover from natural disasters.

 

Applications will close on 30 April 2024, with funding awarded in June.

RHIF was officially launched in December 2022 and is an annual grant-funding program, focused on community-led, innovative projects that are targeted at health and wellbeing for country South Australians. RHIF is passionate about supporting rural communities by strengthening and encouraging innovative programs that will have a lasting impact.

This grant round aims to fund initiatives that demonstrate innovative use of technology through education and learning that aim to measurably improve the well-being of the Victorian community and 
environment. Individuals, educational institutes, government, business, not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises can apply for grants of up to $50,000.
