Sector opportunities

Multiple grant programs are now open

FRRR has multiple grants open including the Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) program which gives small remote, rural and regional communities across Australia the opportunity to access funds for a broad range of initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities. The ABC Heywire Youth Innovation grants help communities take action on the ideas generated by young Australians who attend the annual Heywire Regional Youth Summit.

 

Applications will close on 5 June and 29 May respectively.

Applications for the NAB Foundation Community Grants program now open

Australian communities are being hit harder by natural disasters more often. It takes many hands to get communities back up and running after a disaster and to build resilience for the next one. That’s why the NAB Foundation Community Grants program provides funding of up to $25,000 for local projects that help communities withstand and recover from natural disasters.

 

Applications will close on 30 April 2024, with funding awarded in June.

Waratah Education Public Ancillary Fund Annual grant round now open

Waratah Education is offering grants between $10,000-$20,000 to organisations that provide frontline support to disadvantaged youth in Australia. Further information and eligibility requirements are available on the Waratah Education Foundation website.

Rural Health Innovation Fund (RHIF) annual grants now open

RHIF was officially launched in December 2022 and is an annual grant-funding program, focused on community-led, innovative projects that are targeted at health and wellbeing for country South Australians. RHIF is passionate about supporting rural communities by strengthening and encouraging innovative programs that will have a lasting impact. 

 

Applications close 5pm Monday 29 April 2024.

Supporting Innovative Technology in Education

This grant round aims to fund initiatives that demonstrate innovative use of technology through education and learning that aim to measurably improve the well-being of the Victorian community and environment. Individuals, educational institutes, government, business, not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises can apply for grants of up to $50,000.

 

Applications close 5pm Thursday 9 May 2024.

The Inclusive Employment Grant (IEG) is a two-year, $50,000 grant to support community organisations and social enterprises.

Impact100 WA - open for 2024 applications now

Smaller not-for-profits with an exciting project idea that will benefit WA are invited to submit an application for a catalytic $100,000 grant. The Impact100 collaborative giving model brings together at least 100 givers who pool their individual $1000 donations into transformational grants whose recipients are collectively chosen. Applicant organisations and their projects are reviewed by the more than 200 donors, enabling greater understanding of the issues, the solutions and the solution providers. It also means that more people are engaged in philanthropy and can feel part of making a significant positive difference. 

 

Applications close 5pm Thursday 9 May.
