Take part in exciting research to unlock collective giving in Australia

Collective giving is on the rise globally. Philanthropy Australia, Minderoo Foundation and other advocates have launched a major research initiative to explore how to grow the movement here. We invite people involved in collective giving to complete the survey, and others to share widely.

Nearly two thirds of the planet's population gave to good causes last year: World Giving Report 2025

Amid global polycrisis challenges, the Charities Aid Foundation's annual report provided the buoying news that 64% of people globally gave money to good causes in 2024. While Nigeria topped the rankings, the US came 46th and Australia 68th.

Sector leaders react to dire forecasts in long-awaited National Climate Risk Assessment

This week's National Climate Risk Assessment from the Federal Government has forecast a number of drastic outcomes for Australians in future climate scenarios. Sector leaders working in the nature regeneration and climate change space spoke to Giving News with their reactions to the report.
