Collective giving is on the rise globally. Philanthropy Australia, Minderoo Foundation and other advocates have launched a major research initiative to explore how to grow the movement here. We invite people involved in collective giving to complete the survey, and others to share widely.

Nearly two thirds of the planet's population gave to good causes last year: World Giving Report 2025

Amid global polycrisis challenges, the Charities Aid Foundation's annual report provided the buoying news that 64% of people globally gave money to good causes in 2024. While Nigeria topped the rankings, the US came 46th and Australia 68th.
