An exciting opportunity exists to join a world-leading ‘business advisory firm for purpose’, Adara Partners (www.adarapartners.org), as a Corporate Advisory Director, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Adara Partners is a boutique corporate advisory firm, providing independent financial and strategic advice and complex commercial problem-solving services to leading Australian companies, governments and families. In the two years since we launched, we have completed multiple client mandates at the most senior levels of corporate Australia. Key Responsibilities:

As a senior member of our core business team, the candidate will:

  • manage engagements and client mandates which are led by Adara Panel Members;
  • project manage all aspects of mandates, from inception to successful conclusion, under the direction of the Adara Panel Members, including detailed commercial, strategic and financial advice and analysis of company and market data, company and industry research, valuation analysis, and client reports;
  • manage key client relationships; and
  • lead the Adara Partners core team to ensure service to clients is always at a level of absolute excellence.

​The successful candidate will also have a key role in the implementation of the marketing and business development of Adara Partners as we take the business to the next level.

 

Competencies and qualifications:

The successful candidate:

  • will be a top tier finance professional with at least 7 years’ experience in Australian corporate finance and/or M&A advisory, preferably with experience in more than one industry sector – experience across multiple transaction types an advantage (e.g. corporate strategy, capital management, M&A, restructuring, public and private transactions);
  • should have a degree or advanced degree in business/finance;
  • be commercially, operationally and analytically astute;
  • relish an entrepreneurial environment and the chance to be a key leader in an out-of-construct business for purpose;
  • have an ability to make effective decisions by analysing information and considering priorities and have a ‘can do’ and hands-on attitude;
  • will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and should have excellent writing skills;
  • will have demonstrated experience with managing day to day aspects of client relationships and projects and will have flexibility, self-sufficiency and initiative;
  • should have great people skills and demonstrate exceptional communication skills when engaging very senior stakeholders across multiple mediums;
  • will demonstrate high levels of integrity, an ability to maintain complete confidentiality with respect to all engagements and will have values aligned with those of Adara; and
  • must have passion for helping others and for social justice.

This position is a permanent, full-time role, based at our Global Support Office in Rozelle, Sydney, reporting to the CEO of Adara Partners. The working environment is informal but professional, with very high standards of output and delivery. We are a happy, enthusiastic, and energy-filled group, with a deep and proud culture.
