Diabetes Victoria offers Capital Impact Loan for translational research

Billed as a ‘game-changer’ when launched by Perpetual Limited in 2023, the financing tool enables PAFs and PUAFs the opportunity to lend a portion of capital to a fund or charity through a 10-year, zero-interest loan. The Diabetes Innovation and Impact Foundation (DIIF), an initiative of Diabetes Victoria, is close to making one of the first of its kind available to funders across the country. This will support the national research foundation’s mission as the number of people affected by diabetes continues to rise.
Historic Treaty For Victoria promises ‘tomorrow can be better than yesterday’

In a landmark session in the Victorian State Parliament last night, the only treaty with First Peoples in Australia was passed into law by the Upper House after a decade-long movement and years of negotiations between the Assembly and government. The Treaty will centre First Peoples in the decision-making process of any legislation involving Aboriginal people.
WINGS Asia-Pacific Working Group set to strengthen philanthropic ecosystem
